Wednesday, May 17th, GLCS Primary Campus hosted a Career Day with 30 different professional participants to teach our scholars about different careers and jobs they may be interested in pursuing as they get older. There were a wide variety of professions represented including: police officers, K-9 officers, lawyers, realtors, small business owners, animal rescue workers, nurses, doctors, construction, educators, film industry, estheticians, military, aviation, and politicians.
It was an amazing day for our scholars! Our scholars enjoyed being able to go from room to room and learn about new careers. They asked great questions to our presenters. We look forward to making our future Career Days even better. There are so many people to thank for making sure that Career Day happened. From the planning to the actual event, thank you to all that shared in making this happen. Below are a few pictures from today.
